Silver Hill Hospital sought a compelling and informative way to communicate the ongoing growth and advancements in their mental health services, as well as to highlight the critical role they play in patient recovery and continued care. To address this need, we partnered with the Office of Advancement at Silver Hill Hospital to produce Silver Linings Magazine, a publication that serves as both a news source and a testament to the hospital’s impact in the mental health field.
For each issue, we work closely with Silver Hill’s leadership team to identify and feature key updates, programs, and patient success stories that demonstrate the hospital’s dedication to mental health care. In this Special Edition, we focused on the topic of trauma and its profound connection to mental health, a subject of great importance to the hospital and its patients.
A unique aspect of this project was the use of custom-generated imagery to support the narrative and visual impact of the publication. I utilized AI applications with carefully crafted prompts to create specific images, including the cover image, that effectively convey the magazine's themes. This approach allowed me to produce powerful and relevant visuals that resonate with the publication’s audience.
Throughout the project, I collaborated closely with Silver Hill’s team to ensure that the magazine not only met their communication objectives but also maintained a consistent brand identity. Our responsibilities included content strategy, design, and production management, working with printers and other external vendors to ensure a seamless process from concept to distribution.
Silver Linings Magazine has become a vital communication tool for Silver Hill Hospital, allowing them to share their progress, engage their community, and reinforce their position as a leader in mental health care.
